"Humko Gas Ho Gaya Hai", Laloo Prasad Yadav.

By Manuwant Choudhary

A local businessman spent three full months getting Bihar's former chief minister Laloo Prasad Yadav to agree to inaugurate a small shop on Patna's main exhibition road.

The invitation cards were ready and guests invited by the young shopkeeper for whom Lalooji coming to inaugurate his shop was like getting Shakira to dance at the Soccer World Cup.

On the final day the ribbons were placed, the scissors polished and garlands bought from Mahavir Mandir, when the shopkeeper went to Laloo's house to remind the `leader' to his shock he found Laloo sitting without even a kurta and curtly asked him. "Kya Hai (What do you want?"

The shopkeeper replied, "Sirr, sab ready hai..bus aapkaa intezaar hai." (Everything is ready...we are waiting for just you."

Laloo grumbles rubbing his stomach, "Aaj to nahin jaoonga..Gas Ho Gaya Hai."

Postscript: Ofcourse, ten minutes later Laloo did inaugurate the shop.

But don't all Indian politicians suffer from `Gas'?
